Soccer Game #2

Berkley's 2nd Soccer Game Of The Season : She did a little better this week. Actually kicked it a few times. Got smeared by the other team (Green Machine.) A little terrorizing - they had over 5 coaches with a clipboard, whistle and a timer. A LITTLE MUCH, I THINK!!!!! These little kids were calling us, "The Kung Fu Pandas," LOSERS. Can you believe these little kids were really saying this. Several times I may add. And only one parent on there team said, "Don't say that again." I was SHOCKED, to say the least.
The score was 6-0. And yes we were the 0.
I thought they did Marvelous - Superb

SOCCER GIRL

Berkley's First Soccer Practice this season was tonight. She had a blast. Did really good, so much better than last year. They actually made her goalie for awhile and she only let one past her. We we're so proud! Needless to say I don't think she cares for all the running back and forth thing. Well do you blame her - it's hard work.

OOPS!!!!

This happened on the FIRST Day Of School. So excited to pick her up and see how her day was, but only noticing she had a black eye. And boy it was a bad one. Till this day she still has it. Over two weeks later. She collided with another student on the playground - Must have hit really/really HARD......
Besides the accident she loved it. Was so happy to be back with her friends and away from Mommy and Marley for awhile. She's loving the play time and not missing the baby time (which she did all summer long.) Sorry Marley.

DOC UPDATE

Today was Miss Marley's Appointment with the Neurosurgeon, Dr. Dauser of Texas Children's Hospital.

We took in a variety of pics of Marley throughout the last couple of months to show doc her head and for him to see it after only days of Marley's birth. Noticing that it has definitely been there all along. Doc had positive news saying it looked like it protruded more or was more noticeable when she was younger. Good news about that is maybe as she's getting bigger it's less noticeable.
He knows for sure it appears to be less noticeable than our last appointment at only 3 months ago.

We go back in 6 months for hopefully one last exam, then we'll be in the clearing. He is very positive that nothing will need to be done as far as surgery. YEAH!!!!

Our big concern was as she gets older will it protrude even more being more noticeable. He can't give a definite answer because he said anything can happen but odds are that it won't.

So of course we're still going to worry about it, just seeing it every day worries me, but at least doctor seems really comfortable and sure about the decision for "No Surgery." So for now that's good enough for us.
