Silly Sock Day....

Berkley had Silly Sock Day At School. Moe (Which is my mom) spent hours making these socks. And to think they were thrown away right after. Sorry Moe..... Well at least she did have the silliest socks!

BUSHI BAN QUEEN

We signed Berkley up for Bushi Ban Martial Arts a couple of weeks ago and she loves, loves, loves it. She earned her white belt last week in class and was so excited. Something so new and different than anything else she's tried. She looks forward to her classes and really enjoys it.
GO BERKLEY!!!

We're Back!!!

We're sorry for the extended delay in making a post, but we got a little preoccupied with some family events. I know I said I was retired from posting, but I'm going to give it one more shot. The delays began on December 9, 2008, when our annoyingly loud speaker caller i.d. began shouting "Auttonberry, James" at around 1:15a.m. It was easily the worst moment of my life when my Mom told me Clay had been in a horrible car wreck and was in critical condition with severe brain injuries. Since I can remember, I've pretty much had two idols growing up, other than you Dad, and they are easily Clay and MJ...not necessarily in that order, sorry bro. To keep a long story short, all I'll say is my big brother has pretty much fully recovered and is definitely his old self again.

I always knew I had awesome parents and an amazing family, but I never truly understood how great they were until I saw the love and sacrifices that were made by so many to help Clay in his recovery. There are so many wonderful stories and memories I have from those few weeks of traveling back and forth to Memphis, I only wish I had enough time to share them all. I'm sure we'll share bits and pieces as we begin writing (I refuse to say "blogging") over the next few months. For my family, 2008 will be one of the most memorable years of our lives: Hurricane Ike (still having repairs done), Miracle 1 (Marley) and Miracle 2 (Clay). Here come the tons of pictures everyone has missed over the past few months and I'll leave this post with...thank you God!
