THE KARATE KID

For all of you that don't know, Berkley started karate in February. She goes to BUSHI BAN (Martial Arts).

She absolutely LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it!

She started with a white belt and already had a belt test which brought her to the gold stripe on the belt. She was so excited to recieve this new one. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of her. She's definitely trying to come out of her shell. She is the only girl in the class and of course the most quiet. She's getting better with her voice though. She has come along way since the first class. Keep going Berkley....

Here she is in her first board breaking test. Took two tries but she got it. As you can tell the coach is bending it causing it to break. We found that out by the end of the testing. We were wondering how every kiddo broke it so easily. FUNNY!!!

Oh well Miss B was very proud of herself.

What A FISH ----

Shangri La (Botanical Gardens & Nature Center)

What a BEAUTIFUL place this was! We had a great time, Thanks Mimi & Pop-Pop!!!

This past weekend we drove to Orange, TX - which is about a good two hours or so, to visit Shangri La. Something we haven't done yet and what a neat place. They had many greenhouses, frog ponds, children's gardens and a boat tour down Adams Bayou.

This is the children's garden! They had huge sandboxes to play in and a garden that kids could eat different kinds of flowers and plants. Berkley thought this was so neat, she tried everything from basil to chocolate mint.

She loves riding on Pop-Pops shoulders.

FINALLY....

Marley FINALLY rolled over today for the first time. She is almost 6 months old, but is just soo big. She goes to the doctor again on the 14th. Will let you know all the details. We're guessing she's at about 20 + lbs. People keep asking me if she's sitting up yet and I'm just soo happy she rolled over. She's nowhere near sitting up. OH-WELL
